Is circuit bending an art?

Is circuit bending an art? According to many at Etsy, it is not. I set up a shop on Etsy just this week in order to sell NES consoles, games and other vintage gaming paraphernalia either for use as is or as supplies for circuit bending. Immediately the Etsy Gestapo, shit I'm making them sound cool which is far off from my intentions, calls me out. You can read the thread HERE, you can also print it out and use it to pick up dog turds. According to them many many Nintendo products do not fall in their vintage category (products over 2o years old). I do admit to being unaware that some games fall a year or two behind from their "vintage" standards or anal retentive categories and the gameboy color is a newer item. Whoops! I didn't mean to ruin so many people's Valentine's Day. I think they should have been spending time getting some Valentine's ass than talking shit.
Anyways, I came up with a solution. I have handcrafted some fully functional NES jewelry. Yes, I'm part of the Etsy team now! *blushes* Check out my new items:
